So I guess I'm a little behind the times...I've never had to use this until now. I assume I'm just supposed to print them out and have them in hand when I go to the airport. The tickets are open-ended return, though, so do they save a portion which I use on the way back, or, do I get new ones issued when I confirm my dates, or how does that work? |

they may well issue you a ticket when you get there. Never had an open ended one. One thing though which is sometimes risky is that if you paid for them on a credit card, you need to turn up with the self same credit card you used to pay for it. There must be a good reason for this but I can't be bothered to think of it...
Other than that, I've nver had an issue with them. |

*beep*, why didn't they tell me that at whypaymore? I paid for two tickets in cash and the last one my boss put on her credit card. What am I supposed to do now? Fucking e-tickets. |

That's not necessarily true, though it might be in some cases, you should check with the airline/travel agent.
I've bought tickets on my credit card for friends, and they were never asked for a credit card when checking in for their flight. And my boss bought my e-ticket when I came to Korea, on his credit card, I assume, and I was never asked for the credit card when I checked in. I think the only problem is if the ticket is in the credit card holders name, instead of your own. |

If you used the card at an agent the airline won't care - they get cash from the agent and it the agent that has to worry about the card being properly used. Since your boss did it, you are happy and good to go.
You save your printout - it is your ticket both ways. Think of it the same way as the traditional ticket with the only real change being that the airline won't rip off the top copy.
Make a photo copy so you have an extra in case you lose the first print-out. You will need the numbers off it to re-book your return flight.

Phew, they sent me a paper copy in the mail this morning, along with receipts, so I don't have to bother with the printout myself. Thanks anyway, guys. |

that's a very good reason for it. Come to think of it, although I've had several e-tickets that state this requirement when purchasing, I've never been asked for the credit card. |
