That's is really good food for thought. Bit of a nightmare though as losing your mobile is like losing your left arm. Wasn't the life expectancy lower before the increased used of communication technology?
Which begs the question, which is more importnat, speaking to someone straight away or the whole of humanity dieing off. Is it definately mobile phones?

I know why... they are all being abducted to be used on the cover of honey nut cheerio boxes and on tv and such....and the children bees work in slave labor camps to make honey for the cereal.

People who pin all their hopes on the limited intelligence of godless scientists are in for a rude awakening as nature (designed by supreme intelligence) gets her revenge ...

You guys don't get it

Its very simple.....

Everytime someone in the world whacks it, no matter if it is a man or woman, boy or girl, God kills a bumblebee.....

Kinda' like the "kitten theory"

I agree dude. You should probably throw out all your medicine, boycott the hospital, not use modern appliances(who needs electricity?), stop using public transportation and well the list goes on. Those limited scientists keep on destroying our lives.

We need to get in touch with nature before this vengeful supreme intelligence(who i assume has been on holiday) smite's our collective ass, like it did for the dinosaurs.

This is a serious problem.

Some of you don't realize that bees are the most widely used method to pollinate a lot of our food source. There is no alternative method as efficient as bees in pollinating crops.

Farmer's hire bee keepers to leave their bees for a couple of weeks. At the end of the two weeks or so the bees have pollinated the majority of said crop.

Mexico's major export (besides drugs) is honey. They have a strong econmic dependence on their honey export. This is a country that does not need to lose any economic vitality.

Just read this and think about it:

"Almonds, apples, avocados, blueberries, cantaloupes, cherries, cranberries, cucumbers, sunflowers, watermelon and many other crops all rely on honey bees for pollination. The U.S. Department of Agriculture estimates that about one-third of the human diet is derived from insect-pollinated plants and that the honey bee is responsible for 80 percent of this pollination."

This was a thread topic in the Current Events forum.

Are mobile phones wiping out our bees?

It soon dropped out of sight though, probably because the Current Events forum ought to be renamed "The Personal Vendetta and Agenda Forum."
