Why is it 27K for a WIFE? Why not 27K for a HUSBAND?
A marriage is a two-way thing..... |

"Last year, the tab for the average wedding in America came to $27,852."
People with gay children must be praying that they never allow gay marriage. |
No wonder so many people go to Vegas instead! |

Hmmm. MY first wedding cost less then 500 bucks cause we eloped. We had two witnesses, friends of ours. The majority of the expense was the eight-ball we gave them for dragging themselves out of bed on a sunday morning. Most of the rest was Moet champagne.
My second wedding, in the Philippines (read...everything is really cheap) cost almost 15,000 US). |

Yeah but aren't weddings usually a one-way thing? I know it's a stereotype, but I imagine the conversations between the soon-to-be married about a $27.852 wedding go something like:
Woman: I want..... How about.....? What do you think about.....?
Man: Uh-huh. |

Why would anyone want to pay that much money just for a wedding? Christ, I'm glad I eloped. |

It's a big lot of bull.
The best part about marriage is living with someone you love, not about fancy glamour and parties and trying to make the wife look better by putting her into an expensive dress. |

Refuse to buy a diamond ring as well please. They're blood diamonds. |

What about those non-conflict diamonds I've heard about? |

No, I want someone else to suffer on my 'special day' too. |

My first wedding cost about $1,500 as we did much of the leg work ourselves. The second one was here in Korea and was at a wedding hall and was more like $3,500 (not counting hanbok and rings). |
