Multi, C (in the evening) and Biotin (available at GNC). Biotin is a B vitamin that helps you keep your hair. |

Yes, but only if you are deficient in biotin in the first place - and most people aren't:
"Deficiency is extremely rare, as intestinal bacteria generally produce in excess of the body's daily requirement. For that reason, statutory agencies in many countries (e.g., the Australian Department of Health and Aging) do not prescribe a recommended daily intake.
Biotin supplements are often recommended as a natural product to counteract the problem of hair loss in both children and adults. There are, however, no studies that show any benefit in any case where the subject is not actually biotin deficient. The signs and symptoms of biotin deficiency include hair loss which progresses in severity to include loss of eye lashes and eye brows in severely deficient subjects." Where can I find Centrum multi-vitamins? How much are they? |
I have mine, One A Day Women's, sent from home. They were 54,000 at LotteMart for the 50 tablet bottle.
Also take calcium + D, flaxseed oil for Omega-3 and a multi-B. I find it difficult to eat a balanced diet here. |

Biotin has worked for me. My family has a history of baldness and every male is bald- except me. I'll stick with it. |

Anyone know how the Korean pharmacy vitamens do? I need to get some vitamens as my diet sucks here and my American vitamens were taken out of my luggage during the plane trip over to Korea. @#%@$#%#@ Customs think I might be packing drugs or explosive inside those vitamen pills. LOL.
Might help us not be so sickly like I have been for 3 months straight since arriving in Korea. Korea sure has made me sick alot. Not to knock Korea, I like Korea, thankful to come over, but something has to give with all these colds, flues, and tonsilitis episodes. Hopefully a good multivitamen can be found to supplement the nutrient deficient diet I am experiencing. I do not see other people getting so sick alot like I have been so obviously something is not right with me, while Korea may be a harsh polluted germy environment. |

Vitamins aren't regulated in the states. So you have no idea which brands truly 'work' and which are bullshit.
My friend works in waste management and he sees undigested vitamins in the wastewater all the time. Some vitamins aren't even digested right because they put little effort into them.
I imagine this is even worse in Asia.
I guess, search for some studies and find a brand with a decent manufacturing process in a pill that can be digested. |

I get them from a small black market close to my house. I think you can get them at the Itaewon Red door place and/or namdaemun foreign mart.
I've seen them at some pharmacies here, but the price was better at the black markets. |

Oh, I forgot to mention this- if anyone needs to load up on vitamins, you can find a HUGE selection of Nature Made vitamins (including multi's for about 1,700 yen) in a drug store in B-1 at Hakata station. The vitamins are MUCH cheaper than those available in Korea. |

Fish Body Oil and Flax Seed Oil capsules, 3 each.
When not pregnant, additional 3 Evening Primrose Oil capsules, and a multi-vitamin.
Now instead of the above I'm taking a pre-natal vitamin with extra iron. Rough stuff... I've never had problems taking vitamins before but this one can really upset my stomach. Probably the iron. |

I take 3 pills a day.
A probiotic women's vitamin/mineral. That just means that it's food-based, so it's more readily absorbed and it doesn't upset my belly even if I take it on an empty stomache. It includes "superfoods" and antioxidants. Recommended 3 pills a day, I only take one.
A women's Omega 3/6/9 blend, with flax, evening primrose, GLA, saponins, and isoflavones. This stuff is awesome for skin and hair, and is supposed to help regulate hormones, but not so sure if it really does that. But I've noticed a difference with my hair for sure. Suggested 3-9 pills a day, I only take one. My hair would start to feel greasy if I took more than that! Usually these oils are in liquid form, and have to be refrigerated, and stirred into food or just swallowed from a spoon I guess. Mine are in softgel form, and don't need to be refrigerated.
A calcium pill, which also has vitamins D, B6, B1, and B2. I got this at a Korean pharmacy.
When I need a refill on the others, I'll have them sent from home.
I generally eat healthy, and don't feel a need to take the recommended dose for these things. For most vitamins, if you take more than necessary, you just pee out the rest, which is a waste. For vitamins A, D, E, and K, if you take too much you can end up with too much stored in your body, and it can be toxic. Anyway, I feel that something's better than nothing, and don't want to take too much. |

I bought spirulina. It is full of anti-oxidants, detoxifies, and is supposed to be good for other things. I also take B-complex. I may take fish oil later. |

GNC Women's Ultra Mega. It makes me feel good. I am anemic so if I don't take them my hands and feet turn freezing cold, but they are really warm because I take them everyday now. |

Omega 3/6/9 because I don't eat seafood and mulitvitamins whenever I don't get fruit (which is almost never nowadays because I've come to be addicted to making smoothies (throw frozen bananas, some strawberries or kiwis, and milk in a blender and you've got yourself a delicious drink). |
