To those that don't know, Zyzyfer is running nightly Dungeons & Dragons campaigns at his home in Seoul.

So far they have been pretty awesome, and anyone who wants to swing on by and join is more than welcome, lots of space for new folks as he is currently running 4 campaigns, and let me tell you, he puts a lot of time and thought into it, easily one of the best Dungeon Masters I have had the good fortune of playing with.

Also, we are thinking about having a monthly live role-play fest, probably in the park on Yeouido. We are looking into ordering some swords and costumes online, and will probably make all shields, lances, battle axes etc ourselves.

Feel free to PM me or Zyzyfer if you are interested in joining.

Rough session tonight - my level 41 mage almost got nailed by a rabid sycophant in an ogre's lair.

Guys, seriously, Zyz has some mad campaigns going on - give us a holler. We're going to start a campaign using the original (and best IMHO) Forgotten Realms soon, should be as awesome as peanut butter on toast, and then some...

I like DnD based computer games, but I've never played DnD when its not computerized. I'm too scared of my fellow nerds.

You guys shower regularly, right?

Oh no no no, I know exactly what this is; we had an Historical Anachronism Society at U of I Champaign. Fortunately, there, they were passe enough to be part of the background. Here though, as if we weren't monkies enough...

I attack the darkness! Wink
Check out this flash movie for a great representation of an actual D&D game. Hilarious and true!

Seriously though I have to admit to love playing D&D. I know I miss playing with my group in Tokyo, and haven't found enough interested people here in Kuwait.

I don't know about the live roleplay though. The line between fantasy and reality is mighty thin for some of the people who are into that.
