So, the First Lady of Japan (who, by the way, may be the hottest first lady I've ever seen) says that part of the appeal of the "Korean Wave" in Japan might be that Korean stars are more manly than Japanese stars
What the **** does that say about Japanese stars? They would pretty much all have to be TG's to be less masculine than Korean stars.
Not trying to diss your everyday Korean man, cuz sure some of them are cool... but those freaks on TV! Complete wusses.
Hearing that truly made my Sunday night. |

Blah. The age of manliness and fighting for survival is coming to an end. Women in the future will need a compassionate, sensitive guy to satisfy them in every way. The age of barbarians was in the past. The times are a changin. |

I'm sure Takeshi Kitano would like to have a word with her about that. |

I used to have a thing for Mila Mulroney myself.
But I was a teenager when she was first lady in Canada. Hormones + a woman's smile = hot |

It just sounds like women are becoming more dominant over males. So what happens when Females actualy do need the raw masculinity they will complain that its not there. It also sounds like women also demand more but give less in return. Who is the more versetile of the two genders? Sounds like males are willing to do anything and women just want more. |

Who says they need the "masculinity"? The guys coming through, although they may not display masculine traits, such as violence, they'll still be happy to do all that matters to please their woman.
Princess - I'd love to meet you one day |

Yeah, but ya see, I'm sensitive and compassionante enough to keep my wife full of smiles but I don't:
a) prance around in lace, pink frills, and shiny suits
b) throw hissy fits like 12 year old girls
c) sport a female hairstyle
d) wear makeup
e) spend more than 15 minutes in the bathroom every morning. |

Maybe she's got a different idea of what manly is. Considering someone like Beat Takashi is on par with spaghetti western Eastwood, I think she's favouring the SNAG guys like Bae Yoong Joon.
I used to live in the town where April Snow was made, and there was a lot of Japanese housewives on tours to pay homage. |

Beat Takeshi is one of the greatest actors/directors the world has ever known. Anyone who's seen Zatoichi, Dolls and Kikujiro will know that. |

There's nothing soft or pretty about Bae Yong Joon. He's not my type. He looks too ajosshi style. The middle aged Japanese women can have him. |
