If by count you mean look at your change as the person is giving it to you and reflexively perform an elementary calculation, yeah.. I usually do. It's usually right. If it's not, I usually don't say anything, regardless who the error benefits. |

For the big purchases yeah but when paying for something with a man won?
I don't sweat the small stuff.
I certainly never count the coin. |

I have a budget every month and sometimes when it's getting down to the wire, I'll count it up and see if I have enough money to go out for lunch or pick up a snack on the way to work or whatever. Sad, but it's better than going to the bank and taking out more. |

I don't "check" it, but if the number of bills looks about right, I'll trust that it's right and just shove everything in my pocket. But only in Korea. In Japan, I don't even do that, just straight into the pocket.
Back home, the opposite is true... count everthing down to the penny. |

With colored money it's pretty easy to spot right away if you've been given the wrong change. Indeed, when I hand over the money I knew exactly how much I should be getting back. So it's pretty easy to tell if it's light by a certain number of colored 1,000 won notes or missing a whole 5,000 won note. |

I usually count it at the same time the cashier does when they take it out of the till. You can't always see all the coins but bills are pretty easy. |
