I know this issue has been covered, but several searches have not provided me with the exact process.
I have a colleague who had to leave suddenly due to the death of a family member. He has only 2 months left on his contract, so he's probably not coming back.
He's a good guy, and completed two contract successfully at our company, so he's accrued a considerable pension savings. He is from the U.S. and in the the U.S. now.
How can he apply to receive his Korean pension refund? Everyone says it can be done, but I'd really like to give him specific, exact advice, and I can only find the info for Canada. Please let me know if you are someone who has actually done this or actually knows in detail. I'd like to help him out with this, since he doesn't have the energy to worry about it himself right now. If he needs documents from the company, I may be able to get them for him. I'm sure he'll need the money eventually, and he deserves it. |
