I have read about that tests given to high school seniors around the world.
In many countries, especially Korea, the government takes these tests very seriously. They coach and coax the kids to do well for national pride and all.
Not so in the US. Many American students dont even bother to show up for these tests senior year because they have already been accepted to their universities. Sounds pretty intelligent and efficient to me.

Hey Demi-- get off my high horse, eh? Gosh, I could've sworn you were making thread after thread about how much better England and the rest of the world is compared to America. Good thing you're not a hypocritical retard.

I'm really curious about ppl who just dish out blatant insults like 'retard' etc. I may have an anti-American stance about my posts but it's alll in the name of fun. Smile If it weren't for ppl like me on here it wld be boring. You need a few guys/gals to counter the pro-Americans Wink

What happened in your life that made you talk to ppl in such a disrespectful way? Woiuld you do it face-to-face in real life? Hmmm..I wonder.

Oh...i get it. In all the countries that beat America in the tables, the govt. takes the tests very seriously and thats why they do better. Confused

Can you kindly provide us with this information that only you have that suggests all these other countries take the exams very seriously.

I agree with your point about the korean govt. though. we know that cause we live here. How can you comment about the other countries Question

Which university did you go to?

University of Washington. You?

University of Regina for BA/MA (both English lit), University of BC for BEd. Now, seeing as how neither of us went to a top-tier, trust-fund, snooty university, can't we just get along? ;)

The University of Washington is regarded as an excellent public school, and it has enjoyed this reputation for at least 45 years.

Oh please, give up the coyness act. You are insulting Americans left and right, regardless of whether or not you name-call. And, pro-Americans? Please point to where you saw rampant pro-Americanism on here and felt the need to step in.

You are trolling, plain and simple.

Mmmm hmmm... classic troll posture, acting all shocked and offended when people call you a name. Your shtick is nothing new, I'm afraid. So I called you a retard, get over it. Would I say it to your face? Uh, yeah, if you were acting like a retard the way you are, I would. Get over yourself.

No kidding. Would I call some a retard to there face? Yeah, considering some of the other things I have said to people, retard isn't that bad. Apparently dude hasn't said an unkind word in his life, he just implys unkind things. I like to be more direct.

Seriously...I am a brit. The white ㄷunt thing was just fun. Some of you guys lack sense. Can't you tell from previous comments that i'm English? Jeez, just because I don't have a pro-American demeanor about me doesn't mean im a gyopo. A lot of English ppl dislike America you know. You act so surprised. Cool
