I once saw a ghost. It was in Korea.

I was drunk and sleeping on a sofa in an office building. The lights were off.

The blanket I was wearing flew off my body. I woke up.

There was an old Korean man in front of me. He was more white than a Scotsman. And he had an aura about him that was cold--ice cold.

The whole room was freezing.

The ghost started yelling at me--in Korean. I couldn't understand a word he was saying.

I walked across the room and picked up my blanket. Like I said, the room was now cold as ice. The Korean ghost continued yelling.

I sat back down on the sofa. I was so drunk I went back to sleep.

And that's my ghost story. I never saw the old man again.

Perhaps this was the key phrase of the story?

I'm telling you something, my friend.

I saw a ghost.

In America, it would have scared me to death.

In Korea, it was just a thang.

That's why I love that country.

You irritate me.
And as a devout Buddhist on sedatives, that's saying quite a lot.

I saw a ghost once when I was in the high school back home.

I couldn't tell whether it was a man or woman. It was just a dark figure floating across the kitchen floor as I woke up to drink a glass of water. I thought it was a thief at first so I screamed at it which woke up everybody in the house. And I wasn't even drunk.

Are you sure it wasn't a guy dressed in a sailor suit talking dirty? We know you like that kind of thing.

Your wit is almost as dazzling as a British smile.

Keep up the good work.

ONe time I went to a friend's house for Spring Break so we could be near the COrpus Christi beach and all. ANyways I was kinda freaking out coming out of the restroom late and having to walk in the dark hallway to get to where I was sleeping.

Then for some reason I remembered how they told me there was a lady in a nightgown that used the haunt the place, that she always showed up in the hallway and that just sounded real freaky. Hallways are scary looking at night you know.

So I'm about to close the restroom door and turn off the light, and i hear a creepy door creeking sound and it opens slowly and a figure in a white nightgown wit h white hair comes out, I shrieked so loud I woke everyone up. I was about to scream, turns out it was their grandma. Man , she looked like a real ghost in the dark though, it was so scary.

One time I was watching something kind of dirty on the TV. My wife came in and kissed me, and I did everything I could to change the channel. Unfortunately it ended up on Discovery Channel where they were showing a special on ghosts or haunted houses or something. I said "Don't look at the TV!" Well of course she looked, and saw a woman dressed up as a ghost with white makeup or something. It made her scream.

That was my ghost encounter.

I used to have these annual nightmares towards december or january. Anyways, it all started on my first Christmas vacation when my ex bf was gone. We were together since that summer and that was literally the only weekend we were apart. The night before he returned, I had this horrible experience.

So I'm all sleeping and everything, next thing I know, I feel very awake. I can even see that I"m in my room and everything, and everything looks the same as I've left it before I went to bed, but I'm asking myself, how can I see with my eyes closed. Then I realize I am also paralized, then my bedroom door opened and a guy walked in, he was staring at me by the foot of the bed. I had a canopy bed with canopy seethrough curtains.

He was staring at me like he was studyin g me. It was weird because his face was changing from a little boy's face, to older and back and forth. He grabbed a stool from my desk and put it right on the foot of the bed, sat down and kept staring at me. At this point I'm really freaking out because I can see, I am paralyzed, all I needed to do was turn the lamp on and open my eyes.

I kept trying to move and open my eyes, but I was sooooo paralyzed. I could literally feel my goosebumps and I was freezing cold. I was so cold, it felt like 30 degrees and he got up and tried to come onto the bed. I tried so hard to move or open my eyes, but I just couldn't then I remember having more series of nightmares.

The next one was a girl in white on the window side of my bed, there was a glow from where she was, she was staring and talking. I was freaking out even more, because I could sense the light and I hear what she's saying so clearly, I can't remember now. Then she started coming towards my bed, and I had that same reaction trying to move and open my eyes, then I had some weird nightmare that I was walking up to some spaceship.

I felt like that place was haunted or something. I was going to ask my apt. ppl. if that place is haunted or some couple commited suicide or whatever. I thought they were ghosts bugging me in my sleep. I told my roommate and he thought they were ghosts too. I told my ex that and he said that the aliens were following him since he was 5 yrs old and now they're studying me. That they found me through him.

I didn't believe it, I felt it was too real to be a dream because how did I see with my eyes closed. Then a year later in January, the first time we're apart in a year when he's on vacation, I have another nightmare. But worse, I was paralyzed, freezing cold but I can see with my eyes closed, this time some glowy ghost looking girl was sitting on my tummy looking directly onto my face. I was so horrified I was struggling to gain some control of my body so I can at least scream my head off since I couldn't move.

I thought it was weird this happens annualy, these nightmares, and when my ex was gone. This time, he said in his hotel the same thing happened to him at the same time 4am when I had that nightmare, I thought it's some demon or something. We had moved to a new apt, and what the hell followed us? He still believed the aliens. That sounded bogus to me.

So we google alien abductions. The victims say the same things we've experienced, being able to see, being paralyzed, and feeling freezing cold with the human looking or lizard looking or bigheaded looking thing staring at you like they're studying you. Well, I still think it was some ghost couple or some demon , but this has totally stopped since I've moved out of Dallas.

And this one time, I was so tired laying on my bed, I was just resting. I didn't want to fall asleep, next thing I know I'm dreaming, I'm taking a bath and my body gets paralyzed and it is about to fill up so high that I'm about to drown and the water starts turning jet black. So I'm struggling to get unparalyzed, and while I was struggling I gained control of my body and started moving a finger then slowly I was able to move my whole hand, then the arm and the rest of the body. My eyes wouldn't open though. So I'm struggling like crazy to open my eyes and I open my left eye, what's so darn scary is that with my left eye, I was seeing my bedroom(reality) and I was still seeing the black water filled bathtub too complete with the pouring water sound and this went on for like 3minutes before that bathtub vision/sound stopped.

So that experience made me believe I probably did see something staring at me both times, they were real, because I was able to see even with my eyes closed, scary. I wasn't even drinking on any of these occasions and I don't do any drugs, so that's even more scary.
