Sorry, not Tim Hortons but the Timothy's chain. Always liked them for:

1) Free coffee if you could answer their trivia question (became way too easy with the internet)

2) Brew flavored coffee like chocolate raspberry.

Damn, I really thought it was Tim Hortons! Crying or Very sad

BTW, judging from how fanatic the Koeran ESL students in Vancouver were about Tim Horton's, they really should look into franchising here. A good opportunity for some enterprising waygook who wants to get out of the teaching game, I think.

I was hoping Timmies, but I guess we will need a tim horton's in Korea soon, with all the Canadians here and the great coffee. I hope they will teach the Koreans working there to make it the right way.

At DD I have had some very bad coffee, But like one person said save up and bring in TH and get out of the teaching game.

Everybody send an E-mail to the head office. Let them know that we're interested. I guess they need someone with lots of cash. OK, who's gonna step to the plate? Cool

Does Seoul need any more coffee shops? Rolling Eyes
I like the "world famous" title when I've never heard of it. Rolling Eyes
Koreans believe anything as long as it's written in English.

Didn't they put a Tim Hortons in Afghanistan for the Canadian soldiers? Them buggers! And they can't give us poor English teachers at least one Tim Hortons here. Evil or Very Mad

BTW, Timothy's blows! More expensive than Tim Hortons and weaker coffee. To top it off, they use styrofoam cups. Ewwww! Confused

BTW #2 - How long do you thin the Krispy Kreme craze will last in Korea? I had some of their donuts on Saturday. Grose! Over the top greese and sugar. I don't even think it passes as food.

I saw that banner the other day. What or who is Timothy?! I've lived in Halifax, Ottawa, Vancouver and been to a bunch of places in between and I've never heard of the place until last week. I don't drink coffee so perhaps I've simply missed it all these years, but to say that it's world famous? C'mon now...

I think you're misreading that. It's "world coffee" not "world famous". I guess they just mean coffee from all over the world. Big whoop.

They do have them in Halifax. At least one that I know of, but probably more than one.
