What to do with 3 days in toronto?
What are some good/economical hotels near pearson airport?
Is it far from downtown? I am also wondering what sort of public transportation is available?( to and from airport )
Anyone know of a tour (bus or other) to niagara falls?

Pearson is no where near the downtown. You don't want to stay there. It's about an hour by car. There is no subway or train running between the airport and downtown. A cab ride runs about $40 (there is a flat flee, and it could be more these days).
Can you rent a car when you get there? |

You can get Airport shuttle bus for I think 25 return, also cheaper is bus to Lawrence station and then go south on the subway...
To stay Days Inn beside Maple Leaf Gardens used dto be cheap but it's been a few years for me. There is a chinatown hostel and others you can google (one of the hospitals have one and it's smack downtown.)
Falls----there used to actually be a FREE bus to the casino Niagara but again it's been years since I lived there.
To do? just walk around downtown. Bloor has a crazy looking museum -Bilbao style---Queen is the "cool " arwea. Yonge st is gaudy but OK.
Good for concerts film etc---and maybe the bst ethnic food anywhere...
HAHA--I sound like TO tourism should cut me a check. Really though it's a cool place to visit if you haven't been there---grab the weekl y and see whats going on.
one last thing---as a rule stay west of Yonge St. going east is the "village" and then the "hood" and the hood aint always good,,, |
