Do you like quenching people's appetite like that? |

Dunkin' Donuts also pulled out of Japan.
There's BK in Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand but not in Japan.
Japan is an exception in many ways, it seems. |

Does anyone like Yoshinoya...?
I've eaten there a few times and found it mostly to be pretty ordinary. |

I don't like yoshinoya. It's the Japanese food version of McDonalds. It's pretty standard but you know what you are getting and it's pretty cheap. Strangely enough the last time i had Yoshinoya was in Beijing. |

Actually I went to McD's Korea today and was surprised they now have the Quarter Pounder, but it's called McTwist? It was about the same thing anyway. Also, their menus have changed and the prices seem to have gone up quite a bit. |

Why don't you fatasses cram some lard in a blender and shove it up your rectums? Ever heard of cooking? |
Why that's a charming idea, just lovely. Actually the best thing
is to take some Vaseline petroleum jelly and rub it between your legs
before a walking or running workout. It helps to avoid any chafing.
Learned that in high school distance running, but it's mostly if you
exceed 200 lbs.
As for breakfast, Coco's, the California Restaurant, as in Boondong
near Seoul in JeonJeong Dong, is the best place to get breakfast ...
if you happen to be in California. In Korea, like they say, they just don't
know what breakfast is and the place won't open till 11 or 12. |

One advantage about living in Beijing is there are numerous places to grab a western style breakfast at a low price. |

i think all big hotels would have a western breakfast. it might cost you 10bucks but after a hard long night. it's worth every penny. |

If you live near Itaewon/Hannam, there's a decent little shop in the UN village that serves up good coffee, bagels, and other breakfast goodies. It's a Seattle franchise (not Starbucks), and I don't remember the name (bummer). |

Has anyone mentioned the USO breakfasts? Monday through Friday until 11:00. Bacon, sausage, ham, hash browns, eggs, and, even, pancakes. |

Errrmmmmm . . .
I had posted awhile back about the death of the breakfast menu at Incheon airport BK. I am crushed to hear about the same in Itaewon - many a night was finishing up at a sauna, then grabbing a big BK bag in route to the subway.
Has Hong-dae gone the same route? I kept hoping BK serving breakfast would coerce McD's into the same, considering the proximity.
Ah, well . . . back to to-suh-tuh.
USO/base breakfasts are solid, as are most of the hotel ones. We used to go regularly to the Novotel in Dok-san for Sunday brunch, before the church crowds descended. It is about 15k, but included roat beef & an omlette station.
However, I miss the McD's breakfast BUFFET in Kuykendahl area of Houston Texas - all the evil you could eat (with gravy!) - for $4.59/person.
G.
FYI - I haven't seen one in awhile, but Wendy's used to be here in Korea, but the name of the chain was called 'Winners." I'm just glad to be able to find Schlotsky's - there is a great one in An-yang Lotte. |
