Sens are looking amazing. Sabres are lucky they aren't facing elimination with Drury scoring with 7 seconds left.

I really don't care who the Wings beat in the finals, but I guess it would be nice to see the Sens make it there before they get swept... just to rub it in to Leafs fans and all..

I really hope Buffalo wins. My uncle played for them back in the 70's, so we my family has always hoped better for the Sabres. They are however not the favourite team of anybody in my family, where we all cheer for different teams. Me - Montreal, Dad - Boston, Mom - Pittsburgh.

I had a relavtive play for them around the same time, too, but no one in my family cared much either way. If we went to watch a Sabres game (we were just across the border from Buffalo), it would be to cheer their opponents, watch the Sabres lose, then go get some Anchor Bar wings.

How related, name and when?

My uncle played from the very first Sabres game in 1970 until 1977. Name, Roger Crozier.

3rd(?) cousin. Played goal for them in the 70's. Gerry Desjardins. He was the reason I played net myself.

The Wings won't get passed the Ducks. Sens over the Ducks in the final.

Im living in Ottawa now, and I'm one of the few cheering for Buffalo. When I first arrived in Ottawa I was hoping the Sens did okay(Im a leafs fan). But the Ottawa media, and their fans (the ones living in Ottawa at least) have caused me to want them to lose. Ive never seen a place get down on a team when they lose, and think theyre unbeatable when theyre winning as much as this. (people here were furious when the Sens GM didnt deal Daniel Alfredsson in Nov, and were just as furious at the trade deadline for not making any major deals). Turns out GM John Muckler made the right decisions all the way. Now he's a hero. I could go on and on. Let's go Sabres.

PS. The theme around Ottawa is "Be Red" meaning everyone is wearing red and there are red banners everywhere. Also, people here are hockey fans all of a sudden. Any idea what this reminds me of??

AAGHHHHHHHH !!!!!

The Sabres will have a much better chance to win next game if they show up for the third period.

Whoever wins the east wins the Cup.

For Ottawa, it would be the first Cup in 80 years. Wink They beat les Habs (in a Total Goals series) and the Boston Bruins in the Finals.
Their goalie in 1927? Alex Connell

Just to give you an idea how long ago that was, Di Wink ck Irvin was PLAYING.

I'd like to see Buffalo beat the Senators... but it will just be even harder for them to then go get their asses handed to them by Detroit.

Funny you should say that:

Sweep the Slug (nice logo!) Shouldn't have never went into overtime in the first place, Kelly hammered from behind just before Buffalo's last second goal, was an obvious penalty.

Back to Ottawa, that building is going to be insane. The soul is being crushed slowwwlllly.

See ya Lindy, biggest whiner in the league.
