Is it just me or this particular Team U.S.A. capable of winning a medal at the World Ice Hockey Championships?
With a good defense and a few good forwards, the U.S. might scoop a medal.
Whaddya think? |

It's just you!! But seriously the world championships are a crap shoot depending on which country gets which NHL players.

I was gonna post a link to Urban Dictionary defining hockey the way Southerners do (the word hockey means sh*t) but instead found 6 pages of definitions like this:
the best sport in the whole world. anyone who doesn't like it is on crack.
hott guys play hockey.
Jr A hockey rocks
are all of u for real, its the best sport on the planet. basketball: a bunch of lanky black people throwing a ball into a hole and u cant even tackle each other. just no. soccer: played by small boys that cry if someone flicks them. once again, no.
ice hockey, played by ultra human god-like athletes. it has everything, its fast, physichal and was invented by the british army in canada.
A world-leading sport, stronger than basketball, baseball and American football. American's are just overly conceited to realize this and still thinks the world revolves around them (oops, China owns your ass now!). That is why hockey is played all over Europe and is actually in the Olympics, unlike basketball, baseball and American football. I rest my case.
Good god.. I've never seen anything like it on Urban Dictionary. Hockey fans are seriously troglodyzian, below football and soccer fans. |

They seem to have beaten Team U.S.A.'s backsides for most of the game for sure.
It might say a lot about the Yanks if they can defeat the Finns and do well after that. |
