Damn it.. I'm a size 10 ~12 in the US.
So I can't shop in regular Korean stores cause I'm obviously a fat-ass, but the plus-size store I've found in Itaewon sells only size 14 and up, so I'm too small for those.
Anyone found some good stores for womens clothes that are larger than a size 6?
Is there any thing in COEX, perhaps?
I know there is the basement of Doota in Dongdaemun, but the style there is too ajumma for the most part (what is it with all the damn lace and bows all over everything???) |

Sorry, I can't answer your question. Way off topic, but I assumed from your username that you were proud to be a 'slapper' from NZ, hehe, guess not. |

To be completely honest, I got the name from a "My Little Pony" toy. |

| Actually, lace and bows are NOT ajumma style. They are princess style. |

You'll be able to find stuff in department stores. Since when was 10-12 plus sized? I'm a bit smaller than you, but I haven't had any problems finding stuff. You probably won't be able to fit into the stuff from the cute little boutiques (and my biggest problem is that my arms are too long!), but I'm willing to bet you can find things at E-mart type places. |

Since I moved to Korea...
I don't mean to say that I really am plus sized. I think I'm quite normal, however, Korean fashion standards disagree with me.
What type of department stores are you talking about? The E-mart near Gangnam doesn't sell clothes. Are you talking about Hyundai and Lotte department stores? |

Ah...the E-mart I go to has ton of clothes, and on the cheap, too! I've bought clothes at a Hyundai department store before, and they fit fine. More expensive, though. Not that it matters, Korea is the one place in my life where I actually have disposable income. |

| I wear size 10 US and have been able to find things at Emart and other stores. Look for size 77 or 88 (or 100-105 if they use that size system). The Emarts in Sanbon and Yongsan both have a good selection of clothes. |
