Happy Birthday Exclamation Exclamation

45 is a biggy, a middle age marker it is.
Wait,
Is that 46, Korean age?

I probably won't make it. For the time being, I've substituted beer and spirits with cookies and milkshakes (and it shows Sad ).

Thanks to all the well-wishers, and hope some of you drop by the Yellow tomorrow night.

Happy enough with my life these days I hope to think it's not the so much the middle of something but the beginning. Believe it or not, I spent a lot of my life looking forward with anticipation to being this age, and it turns out I was right to do so.

Beckerson, I recommend the mogytang and a long spell in the steam room - been rasslin' with the same bug and I found that really clears out the pipes. Hope you can make it, and same for the rest of y'all ... oh, and Bill, hope you know I wasn't talking about YOUR message board - I think you know know the one I mean.

Laughing

Happy Birthday one more time Bobster.

Its 9pm (Saturday) right now.. my co-worker is in a band and needs some support for his show.. (near Seoul Nat'l Univ).. band starts at 10pm.. so I'm going to make an appearance for about an hour or so..

Then probably, unless something diverts me, probably be at Yellow around Midnight.. so the plan is to be there then.. and hope to see you then.. you've usually stayed at Yellow long past then.. so I think I should be able to catch you..

Had a great time tonight. Thought that it was an awesome party. Wonderful people! Thank you for letting us share your special day with us Bobster.

Though, We're sorry that I wasn't able to get to Todd's pagoda music party. We were too exhausted. Would have love to have heard you sing our song "the Killbox" before you left it. I guess that I'll have to get all the words down now, won't I? Cool Well miss you Todd Kelley. You rock! Come back soon now, hear?

Harpeau

P.S. Great party Bobster. Happy 45th!! More photos here.

Once again I didn't make a get-together, but this time I had a good excuse. I somehow managed while eating some dok-bok-i yesterday to bite a chunk out of the top(!) of my tongue about the size of a dime, and bled like a stuck pig for several hours, and am now (and was even more so last night) talking like a demented porky pig* with a lisp.

So happy b-day in absentia, there, Bob. Maybe next time (echo...echo...echo...)

*Note : not my usual style of speech.

Thanks to everyone who came out and and another one to fools who bought me drinks. Special thanks to waterbaby who picked up my share of the dinner tab, yer a sweetheart as everyone knows, and to zyzyfer's chica for making him bring a cake back after he walked her to the subway...

Love ya all - it was the best birthday party I've had all year!

Um, actually, that's in the realm of fair exchange cuz you got MY dazzling with for the same amount of time, slightly more in fact since I didn't run into the bathroom quite so often ... how's the tummy, Bill?

But you did deserve special mention for being the first to buy The Bobster a birthday drink, negligent of me to forget that.

Whoa. Be excellent to one another. Party on.

Cool
