Good thoughts troubadour.
The whole of sexuality among humans stinks, but we are all used to it. I find the moral indignation re porn a little too disingenuous, though. What is equally disgusting is the sex negativity of the so called "accepted moral codes" which, IMO, seldom, if ever, inspire. The root of all that the upright ones call perverse is their thought patterns exactly. If they completely disappeared, the other would also completely disappear. And we would begin to see a glimpse of the beauty of sex. |

Certainly! This is a huge topic... I will mention a coupla things briefly:
There is a causal relationship between perversion and morality. (I use the terms in the conventional human sense.)
Love as freedom is fine. Are you sure of what you mean by freedom? The word as used in English is too limiting, IMO. |

How can the word freedom be limiting in any way, in any language? |

OK. I can talk, but I am not too willing to continue the
discussion in public... unless ya'll want to listen and engage.
I am also kind of busy this month.  But I am certainly
willing to talk to all who would engage me.
There is too much ground to cover before we are sure we are
talking at the same level of language. That would be the main
reason for my "running away." 
Anyway, "freedom is limited by love" sounds ok to me.
"Freedom," as understood by many is too stupid to even
consider. That kind of freedom is a concept arising out of
the condition of slavery. But under conditions of balance
in which energy is moving without impedence (a condition
of love, one might say), freedom is absolute--the idea that
I must be free does not arise. |

I think my students have enough problems as it is. There is no doubt puberty is hitting at an earlier and earlier time.
Frankly they can hardly be expected to handle a pencil box without it clattering to the floor or being a ceaseless alurment to doodle in many colors.
I like the little I teach. I want thm to do well and not make a mess of thier lives.
For all he babble you get on here about western vs asian women. The big differance is ego. That I am an oppressed sex godess, indeed a godsess is a mentality particularly of American women. But is it wrong?
No! Because I am a godess, albiet a tad overweight. But it is your fault!
I know that I myself am a rare and truely valued precious being.
The tiny tot thongs, no doubt tats and piercings will come in soon., and why not? It's important to make the little kids into comodoties, priceless collector items at the earliest age. |

is a dirty old man with an 18 year old girlfriend any better just because it's legal? i say sure, they're all a bunch of sickos but it shouldn't be illegal for a 17 year old to date a 25 year old if she really wants to.. or a 16 year old with a 20 year old.. all these laws don't really serve much of a purpose other than to protect puritan values. even in our own country, racetraitor, the laws of statutory rape are now as low as 14. i think that's a fair age despite the fact that i'd just as soon emascualte the sickos who take advantage of that law. i mean, it's kind of insane to assume that anyone between ages 14-18 doesn't enjoy sex. i know i did, and most of you know you did, too. |

Yep I did. It wasn't love it was sex just out of curiosity and pure pleasure.. Sex with out strings.. It was bliss imho, now that I am older I know there is no such thing anymore. |

| Has anyone noticed all the sexy ad photos of young adolescent Russian girls all over this country? Look at any women's fashion magazine. What I can't get over is why that would have such appeal to adult Korean women. I was looking through a women's mag with a K-girl and one of the articles, titled 'Panty Fetish', featured three Russian-looking girls in their panties who looked around 13. It's almost like because they're foreigners it's fine to exploit them in ways they never would with Korean girls that age. |

The girls in Japan dress how they wanna dress. When they go to school they wear uniforms, and outside every girl is free to wear what she wants. Some are conservative, some are "slutty" as you say, most are fashionable, but far from being coerced, all are free to choose. Teenage girls in Japan tend to be fairly materialistic and more sexually open minded than girls in some other countries (of course this depends on the girl, there are many conservative ones), but the bottom line is that their freedom allows them, for the most part, to have more interesting lives than your average neo-Puritan from Korea, or even the U.S.

It is just you. You are not only (falsely) generalizing, but actually misrepresenting how things are there. I lived there for a few years, there is little if any cause to feel "disgusted" on a day to day basis. There are problems (every country has these), but to suggest (if this was your intent) that Japan is a nation of paedophiles and perverts is completely absurd and slanderous. Your opinion is based on your own superficial acceptance of false stereotypes and nothing more.
