I want to go. A friend of mine said it's in Suwon. It's next week, I believe, but that's all I know. |

I got the itinerary. My co teacher is translating it now. Once I get it, I'll post it up for everyone. |

Apparently the "official" information about next week was being sent out to schools today ...
I asked my school about this last week and earlier this week and today one of them finally managed to speak to someone who said that the official notification was being sent out today ...
So now is a probably a good time to ask your school if they have received it...

Is this for NEW teachers who just arrived in March? Or is this for ALL GEPIK teachers?? Is it mandatory to attend? |

Its like this. If your school says you gotta go, you go. If they don't say anything then you don't go.
I would keep a bag packed. It wouldn't surprise me if they tell you sunday night that you have to be there. |

Its at La Vie something in Suwon. Its a resort, however, people from last year said its 3 people per room and you sleep on the floor. |

See that is where I have a problem
I don't smoke or drink and would be really uncomfortable sharing a room with somebody who had those vices. |

What is OWT or NOWT? Its the first time I've seen those 2.
Also, I'm gonna smile each time I see someone with my itinerary printed out. Because of me, you have an idea of what is going on. I should get an award. |

You feel special? You want an award for something your co-teacher did. How about a gold star? |

Most smokers would be considerate enough to do so outside of the room. I'm sure you can cope with a little passive drinking though....
Thanks for this breakdown. My Co-teacher doesn't have the full info yet but from what has been posted it looks pretty good. Nice to see that they are mixing up business with pleasure. |

Not really. I can't stand the smell of alcohol and I don't particularly want to be woken up by people coming back from being out on the piss.
Why should I suffer just because they want to abuse their bodies? |
