|
|
A friend of a friend is doing a project on the problems accosicated with learning English in Korea. Specifically university students and the need for them to learn English to gain positions in non-english speaking jobs.
If anyone can think of ANYTHING to do with problems of learning English in Korea and perhaps any things you can think of that would improve the problems?
Thanks. |

| The problem is with students who don't study. In order for them to learn, they have to study. Study writing and speaking. |

There are millions of other English students in Korea;
practice English with THEM!
It is wasteful for Korean English students to sit around moaning and groaning because they don't have any native speaker to practice English with.
Why does the other person have to be a native speaker?
I sometimes get on the Yahoo Messenger Service and converse in Korean with an Indonesian living in Indonesia.
So what if the other person isn't a Korean?
I get practice looking up the same words and phrases which I would look up no matter what the other person's nationality is. |

Is your "friend" using this as an essay topic in school by chance? |

The biggest problem is that they are all Koreans. |
