Hi this sounds silly, but I need to ask.

I'm filling in the visa form and there's nowhere near enough space to write full addresses.

If I did fit them in, they wouldn't be easy to read anyway.

Will the visa be processed ok with or without full information?

This is a real pain in the a$!

Thank you in advance for your help.

Do your best to fit in everything that you can. It is indeed pain in the ass.

I find these problems with many other forms (especially bank forms). Since Koreans have only three character name, the space for name is tiny where my name is very very long including my middle name. They would not accept initialized middle name and everything has to be exactly as on the ARC. Confused

I like when they say 'sign here' and point to a small 1 cm square area. I say, you mean 'sign along here'. No, in this box. I make it fit.
About the address, If it is a Korean address, maybe omit some of the info. Include the -gu and the -dong but omit the 'san'. If it is American, omit what you can while keeping it legit enough.

1. What is a -san? (I don't live in Seoul, if that makes a difference.)
2. Can I use my Gu-registered In-gam name stamp on Immigration forms?

If you are at the consulate smile nicely at the lady or man behind the counter and ask them if they can write the address in Korean for you.

Worked for me.

I went to the Korean Embassy.

They accepted my documents and told me not to worry about fitting the address onto the form.

The Lady there said the address is on the Notice of Appointment/Employment so it wasn't a problem.

They've asked me to collect my passport next Wednesday, that's the soonest they can do it.

She asked me if it was ok for her to take that 'Notice...of....' to process the visa. From the letter I was sent, it didn't say anything about retaining that.

It did say I'd need an employment certificate for a multi-entry visa and a.r. card once I get into the country but that's not the same as the 'Notice...of...'

I'm nearly there now. Laughing

Lastly, of the 5 women I saw at the Embassy, 4 were very nice indeed. I did wonder to myself, if all Korean women look that nice, I'm going to enjoy the next year Surprised
