young Swedes, aged 15-20:

- 90% don�t know what Gulag was.

- 43% think that communism killed fewer than one million (a fifth think it killed fewer than 10,000).

- 40% believed that communism has increased global wealth

And it�s not just the past they are ignorant about:

- 82% don�t know that Belarus is a dictatorship.

Translation's a bit off. 82% don't believe Belarus is a dictatorship.

Let's compare those results to n.a. or other developed countries and see how well they do. I doubt that that is a swedish phenomenon

I've visited Sweden and they do seem to have a naive outlook on the world. Their country is very beautiful though.
