Because there are social stigmas which effect bevavior in the west which do not necessarily exist here, in Korea, for unattached itinerant 'teachers' who go slightly or more fully off the rails.
Social support encompassing family, schools, friends, expectations of pc behavior, and removal from a distinctly unwestern (and possibly disturbing) culture. |
