Hey guys;
So I brewed up some beer with mango, let it ferment for two weeks, and the uncarbonated results were sweet...almost like flat wine or champaign. So, for the carbonation stage, I experimented a little, adding an initial 2.5 teaspoons to my bottles, then going all the down to 1.5 (these are one liter bottles).
So, if the beer is already sweet, will adding less sugar affect carbonation horribly? I was hoping that adding less will still carbonate it, while giving the yeast more time to finish off the sugar from the mangoes. |
