Hey,

I have heard there are trains or ferry's over from Singapore to Malaysia, anybody have any definite answers for me? What's the easiest way and what's customs like?

Also, any reccomendations for guesthouses in Singapore? Not a backpacker hostel but nothing high end. Thanks a bundle!

Honestly, I don't really know what you are asking here. Are you asking for ferries from Singapore to Malaysia?

If you are, that's strange. Sinapore and Malaysia are connected by bridges, just take a bus.

Take a taxi.

If you want to travel inside of Malaysia, take a taxi from Singapore to Johor and then get a bus in Johor to take you around Malaysia. It will be much cheaper and might even be better quality.

You can even take the MRT (subway) to Woodlands Stn, get off the train, and walk across the causeway to Johor. The big customs center is right there. If you are wanting to shop, there is a mall right there.

Customs don't play around in Singapore. I don't know why you asked that question... Don't even try anything dumb. They don't play here.

For a guesthouse in Singapore, you really only have "backpackers" joints. They aren't that bad. In google, google "little india" + singapore + hostel. A "normal" hotel will be about 100$.

Are you just going between Singapore and Johor?
If you want to go as far as KL, last year I did a bus to and from KL / Singapore. Quite cheap, heaps of room, really, very spacious. I did it overnight.

since i am only in singapore for 3 days going to malaysia won't work out will it?
