I agree with the OP, this movie was WEAK...waste of time--not even worth a bootleg DVD IMO

Saw it yesterday.

A decent way to kill 2 hours while waitng for a friend.

Too much crying. I thought I was watching a Korean movie with all the waterworks going on.

The movie could be summed up as WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

Bunch of babies Evil or Very Mad

Yeah, seeing the Sandman break down was an icky moment. But isn't that partly the fundamental difference between Marvel & DC superheroes & supervillains, though? With DC you get Batman & Robin, Superman, who else?... and some may have a dark side, a dark past, a brooding nature, but beyond that they're generally flatter, more two-dimensional & stoic. Marvel superheroes, on the other hand, tend to wear all their character flaws on their sleeves -- all weepy, conflicted, inner fears, self-doubts, drug addictions, etc.

That's well and good but Jesus...those last 10 minutes was just a cry-fest...

I just felt like screaming "Quit your bytchin'!"

Oh and could they have made Peter Parker any lamer when he became a douchebag? I was so not impressed...

But hey...I couldn't even watch the whole of Spiderman 1 and I ony saw Spiderman 3 because I have 4 hours to kill before meeting a friend and I figured that Spiderman can't be crappier than that Sniper movie with Mark Wahlberg Rolling Eyes

last friday was test day in the elementary schools so the hagwon had a movie day (i hear, I have fridays off) and showed Spiderman 3 on the big screen in the lecture hall

there are no theatres in town so the only way students will have seen it is if they went 30-60 minutes away or had a pirated copy/stream

no fear of copyright infringement here

Did anyone else notice Spidey giving the finger to everyone as he descends upside down onto the stage at Spiderman Appreciation Day? Yep, big ol middle finger Also (spoiler to follow) what are the religious implications of God answering that other photographers prayer to kill Spiderman? Yeah, Spidey didnt die but one could argue that God provided the means for him to kill Spiderman by dropping that black crud on him and creating Venom while he was praying for Spidermans death

Yeah, purely ironic, 'cause Stan Lee rules.

Hmmm...well, Stan Lee and Peter Parker are both Jewish, so maybe they dig that Old Testament fire 'n' brimstone god who's all about the hideous revenges?
