HOUSE

Yes, I am addicted. I have almost completed the first 2 seasons and most of what has been released in the 3rd season. I have also been reading forums some doctors put up where they discuss his diagnoses. I like the House character. Absolute genius that gets by with anything.

It would be fun to see a spoof of the House character playing an ESL teacher in Korea. Can you imagine what he would tell the students and mothers. It would be hilarious

I see House a regrettable end to a great comedy career. Hugh Laurie was fantastic back in the day.

House is brilliant. A near perfect portrayal of a monster who gets away with it because of his genius. I love how they are true to the fact that an addicts only real thought is always his next fix (like when House fakes brain cancer in an attempt to get drugs).

Does anyone get the other, literary British connection to the show:

A brilliant, drug-addicted genius who solves mysteries from vague, limited clues, while others around him founder. His best friend is a Dr. Wats-, I mean Wilson.

House --> Home --> Holmes.

I only like hospital/crime dramas that are unintentionally funny such as Diagnosis murder or CSI miami.

Love the show myself and was happy to see the cast quickly re-upped for a new season. The Holmes thing is intentional, I do believe. As for an end to a great comic career, I disagree. HL has finally landed in the spotlight where he is allowed to show off a greater range of talent than just a buffoon or lovable nitwit.

Yes. I've read an interview with the creator about this.

Ha! My thoughts exactly!!! As a little girl I used to love reading Sherlock Holmes. Absolutely love quirky, rude yet genius characters and absolutely love House cos of that also. I've actually watched all of it and now waiting for episode 23, season 3!!!! Eurgh can't get enough of it!!!
