| My wireless connection has quit working on my laptop and I was wondering what to do about it. Should I take it to a repair shop (it is a Compaq) or can I buy an external wireless modem? Other suggestions? |

Theres a few things you should do first.
1.
Check in device manager if the wireless lan device exists.
2.
Make sure you have not turned off the wireless by accident by pressing the Fn key with F2 (varies on models)
3.
When you say quit working you need to be more specific. Does it detect WiFi spots... etc. |
