i especially love the mushroom cloud super-imposed over the little girl's innocent face.
she doesn't know that she's going to die.

That would be scary if it was made today, but it looks like it's at least 20 years old.

be scared.

edit--I love the comments on this video too. Apparently some disinterested parties were swayed by this commercial's compelling foreign policy arguments.

Actually this was just from the 2006 midterms. Lorge was a Republican from Wisconsin who got absolutely trounced by Herb Kohl (who owns the Milwaukee Bucks). He was on a horse at the end because, being a Republican, he was trying to make the rural voters feel like he was one of them. His campaign never really got off the ground and thus didn't have much money, so they probably produced the ad for about $14.

Paul R. Nelson has a great voice. Why didn't he do the narration?

Wow. And to think I thought that the Japanese spicy noodle and cod-ovary-hat ads were the best advertising campaign ever.
I sit chastened and corrected.

Haha! I agree. The end of the ad might be the most disturbing part of all. Kind of ruins his "Ron Kind is a pervert" message.

Has a bit of the "Kermit the Frog here" ring to it.
