Is this a nation-wide thing? I didn't think there was much of a danger here.

Is there going to be an earthquake? Do I have to come to school that day?

Yes, you must come. Otherwise, they'll dock your pay. Laughing

I can't believe they are cancelling two of my classes for this, because it falls right in between the two. Koreans make study-avoidance an absolute art form. Sure, they go to school every other Saturday, but I'd venture they have about 3/4 the amount of total class time than I did.

The sirens just went off. I guess I'm supposed to up in my classroom making all my students hide under their desks but after finding out that the video / intercm presentation would last 20 minutes into my class I just decided I'd go to my class 20 minutes late.

Now they're evacuating all the students, but making them stop to take photos along the way. Is everyone supposed to run out of a building during an earthquake.

Yeah, our sirens went off too. Hmm, good one that I had to read about it on daves, not having been told anything by my co-teacher (as usual)

No, as far as I know, you're suppose to duck under your desk or some strong object first.
