I was wondering if anyone would happen to know how long will Chinese New Year be in 2004? Last year we only got one day off at my school because 2 of the holidays fell on the weekend.

Kunming -- average highs in the end of Jan: 60 farenheit. Similar in HK...

Kunming gets pretty cold also. I was there for a few days back in Jan or Feb 2000 and it snowed the whole time. Yeah the temps are more moderate than the rest of China at that time but everywhere else is nasty then so I guess Kunming is just moderately nasty.

That sucks. If it works like it has the last two years then we've got 3 less days off next year.

3 days will fall on a sunday so we (most of us) won't get those days. Nor will hagwons replace those days with a friday or a monday off. Thanks Korea!!! 3 less days off next year!!

I suppose the same will apply to saturdays??
