I've noticed that nearly every phone in Korea has the option to alter the outgoing number when you send a text message.
What other function does this serve other than to provide people the option to send anonymous messages? |

I love it. It's great to be at a table full of people and secretly send a text to one person and another person's number shows up.
"I've secretly wanted to date you for the last two weeks. Wanna get out of here and be alone?"
Wrong, but great when it's not you. |

Great when it's harmless or playful, but how about when the messages contain threats?
Seems as if this feature has much more potential for harm than good. |

You can be an a$$ like some of the people here. They send tets to people using other people's numbers.
All sorts of fun. Unless it happens to me...then it sucks. |

My friends and I had a great night of fun using this option at GartenBier once. But yeah it can be used for evil as well. |
