Is it possible to get a one or two month extension on your E2 visa?

If so, how does one go about getting one?

If it is for WORK at the same hakwon you need your:

ARC
passport,
copy of the contract /extension clearly showing the new completion date
copy of his business registration
guantor paper signed/stamped by your boss
application
30k won.

Go to immigration. The process takes about 20-30 minutes. They will mark the back of your ARC to show the new exit date.

IF it is for PLEASURE - take your:
ARC
passport
Plane ticket out of Korea
application down to the immigration office. They will extend you until the date on your plane ticket. This is free but limited to 14 days.
