I feel for you but wrench's reaction is why you shouldn't post such personal stuff on message boards, especially given the tone of this one at times. Why don't you ring a friend, a TRUE friend and meet them somewhere, sympathy from strangers is hollow.

These death notices are usually inappropriate here. Look at the Falwell string, for gods sakes.

I seem to remember one of these has anyone seen my friend posts a while back. I can't remember if it was a troll or a sincere event, but it didn't work very well. People were speculating on who it was some folks were bashing away.

This is a public forum. The public hold many different opinions and moods. Don't expect all the replies to your post to comform to your standards and or expectations.

if i may, i'd like to step in here for a moment and share my thoughts, as it was my friend who died, and i started the thread where all this brouhaha started.
wrench, i did not post here looking for sympathy for my friend. i did not ask for people's views on suicide. i certainly was not interested in starting a flame war.
i posted here looking for sympathy for me. i just lost a friend. i wanted to share that, and get a bit of love. i didn't have anyone to hug last night, no one to talk to in person, so i posted here. i have friends on this board who are my friends in real life, and friends who are online only (thus far). this was my way of reaching out to my friends, en masse, and sharing something awful that had just happened in my life.
i didn't post the reasons for her suicide, as it's not the appropriate place to do so. as well, those reasons weren't relevant to the intent of the post. my thoughts on suicide, and yours, are irrelevant also, had i been told she had died in a car crash or had finally succumbed to cancer, i would have posted a very similar message. would you have responded that you have no sympathy for drivers, pedestrians, passengers, or cancer sufferers?
the cause of death was not the point. the point was that i was feeling really wrecked and needed some compassion and comfort. fortunately, for the most part, i got that in an overwhelming amount. in fact, i am stunned by the outpouring of compassion i have received, both publicly and via pm.
your response was out of line, completely unneccessary and a vile attempt to be hurtful at a time when i was, and still am, feeling very low and fragile. however, i am not so weak as to be upset by the rantings of an angry man with a chip on his shoulder.
well. i have a funeral to attend.

You have my sympathy for befriending such a person as your late friend. Sorry to hear that such a person would screw their friends that bad by commiting such a selfish act. You were better off not knowing that person, think about it. This person was not a true friend and deserves to be forgotten.

EDIT you feel emotionaly wrecked.

Nice you feel happy that some one died. Hipocrite.

Wrench, you are the poorest excuse for a human being I have ever seen on this forum, and that's saying something. Congrats. Would you right off your mother or father so easily if they had had a moment of weakness? You disgust me. You don't know enough to comment on the reason or cause of her suicide, you posted merely to hurt someone. Truly pathetic.

Well thank you for generous compliment. I don't think of the human race to highly. I rather be called as another species then this wretched human race that everyone so arrogantly thinks that we are King shiet of turd island but alas are nothing more then fart the messenger.

My father.. I think he wrote himself off a long time ago.

Wrench,

You're a tool. A socket. A tall French wench. Inhuman, not even any stench. Rusted out, benched.

Good Gawd, Man! Brilliant - terse and concise!
DD - you rule, I swear...

(I'm not even gonna mention the sweet full rhyme of French, wench and benched...)

The only one talking any sense here really is Wrench and a few others. I have already voiced my opinions and stance on this issue. The only posters that should be banned are those threatening Wrench. Someone who is mentally sick deserves sympathy but those who are weak or selfish deserve nothing-except for the family and friends.
