I enjoyed my time there. Go to the Wa Bar a few blocks from City Hall on a Friday night to mee the resident westerners.

You can take the metro down to Songtan Station and visit the shopping area in front of Osan Airbase. It is a nice little foreigner area.

You won't have problem seeing the "Osan Circus"........seriously.

It is a good location.

I'm going to be in Songtan soon, which from what I understand isn't far from Osan. So I'll be up for a drink or three.

That's awsome...sure drinks sound good! I heard the shopping around there is awsome I was just hoping there is some sort of life in Osan itself but I guess i'll have to wait and see.

Life in Osan....well hell there's a US military base....so huge foreigner population (ok maybe that's subjective and a bit of exaggeration, but still). The shopping in Songtan is good, there's a couple of black market shops for American products (you'll definately see a lot of foreign teachers and other non-military foreigners in those stores). Also Songtan is on the Dark blue line 1 subway line....(20 mins +/- from Suwon and about 1.5 hours from Seoul +/-).
