I would suggest that as "the world's most influential person", he has a responsibility to jump in and contribute to the key issues facing the world today. I mean, why leave it all up to Bono, the Dalai Lama and Ban Ki-Moon?

Try this around your Korean coworkers:

Crisis in Darfur? What would RAIN do??? (ponderous sigh, look off in the distance as if to receive spontaneous psychic guidance from Rain)

Client wants us to give them the product in 2009 at 2007 prices? But they're willing to pay now? Hmmmn.... What would RAIN do???? (sigh)

Female coworkers are giving me murderous glances, but they know that I know that they voted for him, so I'm going to continue to have my fun for a bit longer...

That is really, really funny. Your coworkers know about Darfur? I'm impressed.

I'm going to go with, "What is Rain's long term foreign policy regarding the reunification of the Korean penisula? What steps will he take to implement that policy, and how important is wearing a pink sequinced shirt during reunification talks?"

The list is endless.

Someone should photo shop up a cover of time with rain on it. I'd pay for that t-shirt.

The rest of the list is a joke, too. Number 3 is the really bad singer from this year's American Idol, number 4 is DANE COOK. Timbaland is higher than Bill Gates, Roger Federer higher than Mandela.

That list is seriously the saddest thing I've seen in a long, long time, and it makes me ashamed to be American.

Well, he's doing a small part to help raise awareness on Darfur:

http://www.utvlive.com/newsroom/indepth.asp?id=12344&pt=e

I mean, it's only some donated concert tickets, but I'm certain that half a million netizens wouldn't have thrust RAIN onto the world stage if he didn't have it in his heart to be a true leader of the people. Why wouldn't he step up?

Come on! Have you no faith in uncontrolled repeatable self-selecting polls of random anonymous internet users? Smile

It's not the REAL Time 100 list. It was just a stupid internet poll.
