Terabyte Hard Drive Review
Let's take a look at the first terabyte hard drive, the Deskstar 7K1000 from Hitachi Global Storage, and see just how it performs. For an impressive $399 ($0.39/gig), is it worth your bucks?

Hitachi is the first to market with a 1TB hard drive, using the company's perpendicular recording technology.

I've already got over 1TB of HDD but that's with a 500gb 2x 250gb and 2x80gb drives. with multiple 1TB drives you could really store a ton of media.

I don't think I need one yet, but maybe in a couple of years. I'm still good with my 160GB drive and my 250GB external. I am going to get a 500GB SataII to put in my computer so my external can be used as a second work drive though.

1TB, jeez! That's a lot of porn!
