Anyone know of a good and easy print program that will let me print two pages on one...like two pages side by side and both sides.
Example:

Any program.
Use the print command from the file menu and hit the options tab in the bottom left of MS Office programs. Should be most of what you need there for front and back (it'll print off every second page), and use that in conjunction with the pages per sheet option in the menu where the options tab is located and you should be good to go. You just have to turn the paper over and feed it through again. |

Nah...I used to have a program that someone put on my work com about 5 yrs ago at a different job that was quick and easy. It had an icon in the tray and you just hit it and hit quick print and it would sort it and print away...It wasn't adobe or the OP printer device...it was a a program for quick and convenient printing use, but darn if I can remember it now. |

OpenOffice.org has an nup option:
N-up
The N-up settings allow you to print multiple pages on a single page. Click on the drop-down list to view the possible selections.
Off:
This default setting specifies one page per sheet of paper.
2 up:
This setting prints two pages on one sheet of paper.
4 up:
This setting prints four pages on one sheet of paper.
6 up:
This setting prints six pages on one sheet of paper.
9 up:
This setting prints nine pages on one sheet of paper.
16 up:
This setting prints sixteen pages on one sheet of paper. |

Mac OSX. But that probably doesn't solve your problem. |

Acrobat does this very easily spliff. When you get the pop-up to print, check the bottom of the dialogue. There is a button to change size, position, and allow even 8 pages on one sheet. But, of course, it needs to be a .PDF document. |

Again. Pretty much every program does this. But you have to reinsert the paper to print on the other side. The only way around reinserting the paper is to get a printer that does it automatically. |

Nope, this was something that was as easy as print page at the top of the browser except it wasn't that. You just hit print in whatever you're doing, web page or word out there it would pop out with two pages printed on one side of a4 albeit the print was small, but that would be expected. |

Well we have offered you many viable alternatives. Simply responding "nope, that ain't it" is not very gracious. You asked for "AN easy to use" program. Try our methods since you can't locate the exact piece of software you used half a dozen years ago...and perhaps a thank you to some of the people who took time to even give you a step-by-step guide to getting what you want. |

My guess is that the software you're looking for has gone the way of the dodo because it isn't necessary any more. I looked at the print options under the file menu of half a dozen programs and all of them have a two pages per sheet option (or 4 or 6 or 8 or 16) and they're no more than 3 clicks away at most. On Word the option is right there on the first menu to jump up. |
