Sometimes I think that being in Korea and speaking kiddie English all day has impacted my reading comprehensions skills but does this sentence make sense?

From:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070519/ap_on_sp_ba_ga_su/bbo_yankees_mets;_ylt=A0WTUeiyyk9G5kkBTg0N97QF

Quote:
All-Star second baseman Robinson Cano made three errors and b itched a double-play relay for the Yankees.

I'm trying to figure out how this sentence could be right but I'm drawing a blank....

Edit: Damn you swear filter! Damn you to hell!

perhaps....I thought that butchered might be the word they were looking for.

I've noticed a lot of strange errors while reading news reports lately. I guess they are rushed for time and don't have time to proofread properly....

It does make for interesting reading though Laughing

Botch is one of those words that only sports and entertainment writers use because they are constantly thumbing their thesauri due to writing about the same topic day in, day out. Don't beat yourself up over it, turtle girl.
