I was thinking this week that it would be neat for someone to write a Korean version of "The Breakfeast Club." I'd do it but I'm not that fimilar with the problems that Korean Teenagers face. But if someone did do it, it would be awesome.

They are starting some kind of fully english-speaking channel funded by the MOE soon or have already in Korea.

You should send your idea to them because it may make a good script for an english programme for Korean middle/high school students to learn english from.

다세포소녀

("The Female Students of Da-sae-po High School")

The TV series is better than the movie, in my humble opinion.

Yeah, let's make a Korean version of a badly-written, stereo-type ridden, stilted dialogue-filled movie. I think only good could come of it.

It's like that here in the U.S.

They already have a half-day of school on Saturday (well, down to twice a month now) so it would probably have to be 'The Lunchie Club'. It's interesting you mention that, actually, because after Saturday school seems to be the favourite time for conducting group punishment sessions at my middle school. Just imagine spending time in a serious of stress positions followed by a hundred squats and maybe getting caned and you have The Lunchie Club. It's already been done in scores of Korean movies, anyways.

Not much usually happens during Saturday school, at any rate, so if you want a movie based around students coming into school on Saturday morning to do nothing you wouldn't even have to make the characters all rebels.
