|

To any of you out there who are Formula 1 fans in Seoul, where can you watch the races? I missed the Spanish GP. I've been here for a couple of weeks and struggling to find out where I can watch the races. Are the races shown on cable? If so, are they delayed or shown live, or a bit of a mixed bag?
I live in Omokgyo/Mok-dong in the south-west of Seoul on line 5 (the purple line), so if there are sports bars nearby that show the races, I'd be happy to make the trip to see them. I'm planning on jumping across to China to see the race later on in the year, anyone else going to, or thinking of doing the same?
Any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

I live in Incheon and they aren't shown here. They used to be on Star Sports, but their contract ran out and they didn't renew it or something. I just have to download the race about 6 hours after it's over. I get the ITV coverage.

Thanks for the replies guys, appreciate the feedback. KPRROK, where do you download the races from? The ITV coverage is great, I was in the UK in 2005 and much preferred ITV to what I was getting back home in New Zealand previously. Drunken Monkey, is MBCespn part of a standard cable package or something else? I wouldn't mind watching it with Korean commentators as long as I got to see the race. Another guy told me that Sky Sports on Skylife shows qualifying and the race.
Thanks guys. |
