Yep. Summer is here, and Thailand isn't. So, I'm wondering if anyone knows of a really cool beach somewhere in Korea... other than in Pusan. Any big or small ones for a nice little getaway? I'm thinking of just a nice day trip... and is it possible to get there by bus or train?

List whatever beaches here you know of... let's have some fun in the sun!

Taean national park on the West Sea has many islands and beaches. To the South of Taean there is a bigger community with a popular beach that has restaurants, bars, noraebangs, etc. on it. The name is slipping my memory right now.....the guide books tell all about it.

the pusan beaches werent cool at all. the water was dirty and there's a rediculous amount of people there. i was there one day and there was 1 million people the news estimated

There are a few nice beaches on 이작도(I think that is correct?). You can get there by ferry from the terminal in Incehon. Possible day trip, but a weekend is better. There are quite a few 민박 on the island, and they will pick you up that the terminal on the island.
