Looking for a slim camera with cool features in the $300 range that I can find at Yongsan....I think the Canon Powershot SD1000 is at the top of my list but haven't been able to find it on Korean sites so probably won't be at Yongsan(or any other store). Any ideas? Also, is the Sony Cybershot T-100 available here yet? Thanks. |

If you really want the Canon, wait a couple weeks. It looks like that is quite a new model so it may be a little while before it becomes available.
Edit: Canon's crazy Asian naming scheme confused me. That model is called the IXUS 70 here in Korea, and it is available. |

Whatever you do make sure the camera has some kind of image stabilzation system. It will make a big difference in the quality of your photos. |

If I was looking for a new smallish camera I'd get Canon G7. I know, I know. It isn't as small as those ixu(s) models (had two of them in the past), but now that the lens retracts completely inside the camera body... I think it's small enough. It also has the IS system too!
Take a look at G7 if you can. Oh yeah, it's a bit more expensive but you can get around 420K. |

The Sony T-100 is a slick little camera with great features, but it's just too dang expensive and the Sony memory sticks cost alot of money also. |
