Can you play a DVD on a Samsung DVD/VCR Combo and simultaneously record it onto a videotape on the same machine? |

I havent heard of any DVD player model coming out with such kinda feature. A scenario like that doesnt make meaning as people wont like to record their stuff into a legacy, error prone media(Video tape) from a better one(DVD). If you have such a scenario please tell me I am curious to know about it. |

Actually, VCR tapes are much more durable than DVDs. If you scratch one part of a tape, only that part, which lasts for only a couple of seconds, doesn't play well. One little scratch on a DVD, and the whole thing becomes a shiny frisbee. |

Yeah. DVDs and CDs suck for durability. They're just cheaper to manufacture. We've all been duped. |
