Yep, that's the latest advert on Dave's ESL for Jun Recruiting. Real professional job advert, must say. And it bothers me for another reason. It reinforces Koreans' belief that we are only here for a "free party", not to actually work or teach. Reminds me of my K co-worker a couple of years ago. I mentioned to her that I enjoy going to museums, temples etc in Korea. She was stunned. She says, 'Wow! You are really diiferent from other foreign teachers in Korea. They are only here for the nightlife."  |

that ad is terrible english, it doesnt even sound like a that person can speak english. i didnt like the nightlife that much, there's only 2 areas really |

The Korea I live in has no nightlife. I don't know which Korea SHE lives in. |

I just saw that too.
"Free party" most likely consists of a yogurt drink and cup of ramien (medium-size) with complimentary wooden chopsticks. And it isn't free: recruiters get 1-2 mil for the headhunting fee, unless I'm mistaken. |

What irks me is that these recruiters speak less than desirable English.. or shall I say Engrish and they have the audacity to question mine because I'm Asian and was not born in the USA. They completely disregard the fact that I've lived in this country for 20 years..#(&$(@&@ forget it >.< |
