Hasek was injured. And Ottawa wouldn't resign him.

We agree... No one has stopped them... no one good. You haven't faced a defensive team yet.
And the Wings have been facing tougher teams. The West is hands down the better conference. More physical. Better defense. Better goalies.
Not saying Ottawa isn't playing good hockey, but I don't see them beating Anaheim, or Detroit. |

| I think Ottawa will have a better chance at winning the cup, I'm not going to put significant amount of money on it. If you look at the last few finals, it's been the team from the east winning. The western playoffs are hell to get through, the Ducks and the Wings are going to be more beat up than Ottawa. |

| i do want ottawa to win because it's now canada vs the us again like it was last year but the team who has the most time off (which is ottawa) doesnt always do well in the first few games of the finals |

u'll see it when he needs to do it. that's a sign of a team that has good defense and doesnt let all the shots go to the tender. Ottawa in 5 |

what kind of world do we live in where 3 years olds die from cancer? This kid loved hockey and never got a chance to play. I was just learning to skate when I was 3. This is a very sad story and the Sens should be comended for touching this kid's very short life. I really hope ottawa wins now. |

I really hope the West farts on Ottawa just to show you, and the rest of your crazy ass Canadian friends, what kind of a world we really live in.
Jesus Christ, for a people that invented hockey, you'd think at least one of you sons of bitches might be able to talk about it intelligently. |

End of the 1st period. Wings down by 1. Playing great hockey. Anaheim is outshooting them, but the Wings outplayed them for the last 12 minutes of the period.
Watching the game from a Canadian stream. Funny how the half time announcers are so focused on wanting Ottawa to play Anaheim. |

| Ducks score again. They were hammering Hasek with about 5 shots. Still a lot of time left. |

Not much of a prediction, but I see Anaheim beating the Wings. A bit late for any amazing predictions.
I see the well rested Ottawa team finally getting the cup for Canada. Beating an Anaheim team full of Canadian players. |
