Just out of curiosity, I'd like to get a rough idea how far you have to walk to your primary place of work.

Muchos Appreciatos.

10 minutes door-to-door on the Judd, but about a 30 minute walk. I lived a few minutes away from a public school I taught at in 2005, and it was a mistake.

I couldn't take a dook without the 1000 plus students telling me what it smelled like.

I've worked at two places, and the most direct routes were 10-15 minutes and 20-25 minutes respectively. Walking is for schlobs, though, so I got some wheels.

I've timed it. It takes me exactly 120 seconds to walk from my front door to my desk in the staff room at a leasurely walking pace.

@Qinella
Loving the Bushism link. Some classic howlers in there, especially:

"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we"

I wish I could walk to school. There's no way. It's at least a 20 minute bus ride. Then a 4 minute walk up the hill to my office.

The second campus is a great 15 - 20 minute walk. Loved being there in the fall.

A 15ish minute walk. It can drag out to closer to 20 if I'm really dragging my feet. But on my bike it takes about 5.

My school is between 2 miles and 3.5km but I'm grateful because I walk to and from school every day. That's over 300 calories. If I didn't, I'd have to do an extra 4 miles of cardio at the gym every evening, which I don't fancy. 3 subway stops if bad weather.

Job 1: 5 minutes
Job 2: 2 minutes
Job 3: I spent more time in the elevators than crossing the street, actual walk was about 30 seconds
Current: 80 there, 120 back, so I take the bus

It's two floors down from me, so, um... about 40 seconds on a slow day?

My first job was a 10 minute walk... my 2nd one was a 2 minute walk...

Now I work in a country school and enjoy the luxuries of life in Bundang (Seohyun)... so it is usually a 20-30 minute drive to work depending on traffic. The school provides the transportation.
