Brothers and Sisters, this is totally legit and on the up-and-up. No "monkey business" (nudge, wink) here. And yes, it's for you ladies, too. Real Thai massage done by a real Thai woman who knows what she's doing.
From the moment you walk in the door, you'll know this is no ordinary "Sports Massage" parlour. The fragrance of jasmine, incense, and essential oils... the decor... the soft music...
Start off with a foot bath in rose-petal water. Then sit back and enjoy a glorious foot-and-calve massage while sipping your green tea. Bliss.
Then move into the next room and lay on the heated mat and let her go to work. The stretching... the manipulations... the oils.... the pressure points... Wonderful.
Finish off with a head massage that'll leave you positively giddy (I swear I just floated over here to this PC room... was it cold out? I didn't even notice!)
65,000 for a 90-minute workout, and it's money well-spent. My spine feels like a well-cooked piece of asparagus, I tells ya! What a way to beat the winter blues.
To get there: If you know where La Festa is, you're halfway there. Go to the Northern end (opposite and away from Carrefour). When you get to the road there, turn right, cross the first intersection you get to, and stop. Look up & to your left across the street a little ways ahead of you, and you should see the signs (and the Thai Air logo) on the 6th floor, in English and Korean.
If you don't know where La Festa is, take the Orange Line to Jeongbalsan station. Take the exit for Lake Park & Lotte Dept. (I think there are only two exits, so it's pretty hard to get lost.) Follow the signs towards Lake Park and walk about 2 - 3 blocks. (If you pass Carrefour, you've gone too far.) Once you see the pedestrian-only area with all the restaurants and bars, turn right and walk through to the opposite end.
Enjoy! |
