Has anyone found cheap flights to the Philippines for end of July first of August? Dates? Carrier? Price?
We are looking at Boracay.

Thanks.

www.okairtel.com has some good prices.

All they do is flights to the Philippines.

I paid 499,000 won for a 1 month RT ticket to Manila at the end of June.

PAL tends to be pricy during the summer break but you can try Cebu Pacific. They have a Korean office and flights to Manila and Cebu from Incheon.

From either destination you can catch a SEA air flight to Caticlan (Boracay airport). Some airlines fly to Kalibo and then you get stuck with a 2 hour jeep ride to the boat dock in Caticlan for the ride to Boracay.

I was quoted 380,000 + tax (approx 120,000) by Eva for end of june. There was a waiting list for the Manila/Taiwan return section. They often have a waiting list but if you're on it early enough they get lots of cancellations.

Luck

Everyone seems to be using Whypaymore as a reference point for prices. I am trying to learn to read Korean but just not there yet. Can someone help me find the cheapest listed prices for Incheon to Boracay On Aug 18(morning) and return on August 22-23 (need to arrive in ICN at 10 am on the 23 at the latest) This will be for two people.

Just found out our vacation times and I would like to find the best price to use as a reference when dealing with agents.

Thanks.

You don't need to read Korean to do whypaymore. When you do the search
for the airport name you can type the city in English.

You are looking at about 550k won for the international return flight (Incheon-Manila) and about US$120 for the Phils domestic flight (Manila - Caticlan return on SEAair or Asian Spirit). <prices per person>

It may be cheaper to grab a package from Hanatour or Mode Tour or Lotte tour. Last time I looked they were clearing Boracay packages from about 650k won per person (air / hotel / transfers / meals). Any travel agent can get you tickets or check their websites if you have someone who can assist you with Korean. (They are Korean only).

Thanks for the suggestion ttompatz. I will try and look into it.

Has anyone signed up for one of these tours and then done your own thing when you are there? We want to relax, not be dragged from site to site to see things. Is this possible?

On Boracay, yes, because there is nowhere else to go. Just make sure you don't miss your boat back to the airport or your flight home.

hana tour:

south east asia:

Boracay:

there is the calendar... click month 7 or 8 depending on your departure dates.

Prices are now showing July departures from 749k - 1.5 mil and Aug dates from 1 mil.

These prices WILL change depending on demand. Watch them daily and book&buy on short notice.

Also watch the SALE tag under the main banner on the home page for super clearance specials. ( http://hanatour.com )

Hana Tour's prices are too high. Try onlinetour.co.kr.

I just got a quote from Soho travel for July 27th to Aug. 4th for 700,000 won. That is the best I've seen.

Can anyone help me find airfare to Cebu on Aug. 11 or 12th to Sept. 1 or 2? Thanks,

I have been quoted 810,000 but I think that is a bit much.

Try routing through Manila. Get a flight to Manila then book a domestic flight to Cebu. It may be cheaper that way than the direct flight.

You can also try Cebu Pacific instead of PAL or Korean air.

Just bought Incheon - Manila (Aug 11-20) for 700,000 taxes included off the Asiana Airlines website.
