HAHAHAHAAHAHahaHAAAHAHAH
Right now I'm feeling a bit like I have the third one without 1 or 2...and by settling I could bring them into the mix. Might make things easier, I AM almost finished at this job. |

I'd give notice two seconds later. |
No it isn't the co-teacher who's responsible for your contract. It's the education office or the principal.
Who drafted and finalized the contract? Education office.
Who signed the contract? Principal.
Not your co-teacher. CT is just maintaining your records and ensuring that contract terms are being enforced or followed. |
Sorry, I wasn't clear enough in what I said ... In my case it was the co-teacher who got the contract ready to be signed ... In the standard contract there are some things which needed to be added like names and addresses .... and it was the co-teacher who did those changes ... because they were the person in the school who have the best English and the contract is in both Korean and English ... In my case it was my co-teacher who did this ... No she is not legally responsible for it ... nor did she sign it ... that was the principal ... but it was her that made the changes necessary ... I do not think it is fair that the school is trying to put the "blame" back onto the co-teacher ... but I think I can understand why ... All I was trying to explain was what I though they meant in putting it back onto the co-teacher ...
I do not think they should .... I do not think it is right ... but I can see where they are coming from .... |

It's because of crap like this that I never want to work in Korea again. The sad thing is; this isn't even a hagwon... it's a well known government program. Korea really needs to change the entire work visa situation.
...and they wonder why they have trouble finding teachers to fill all of their positions...
D, you can always stay with me in Japan if things get really crazy. Heck, you might as well just work here. They actually try to follow the contract here (mostly), and you don't get jailed, fined and deported for teaching private lessons! |

They said I can refuse but then they will put it on my co-teacher...who is really too nice to do that too. |
WHO GIVES A SH!T! That is NOT your problem. They could take it out of the principle's salary.
If you take a pay cut, you are quite simply a moron who deserves the pay cut. |
